My hound, Charlie attends weekly daycare at Lucky Dog and he absolutely LOVES it! The staff is super professional and clearly care about each dog. Recently, we sold our home and were moving. I needed to board Charlie for the first time ever. I didn't hesitate to make a reservation at Lucky Dog. I knew Charlie would be in great hands and I was right! Laurie and her staff were amazing! I received daily updates and pictures which put my mind at ease and allowed me to get a complicated move done without worrying about Charlie! Lucky Dog is more than just a boarding/daycare facility. It is a home away from home for your pet. They love my Charlie and he knows it! They treat each dog like a family member. Of all the things there were to worry about the week we moved, I didn't worry about him! Thank you from the very bottom of my heart for taking such wonderful care of Charlie! You guys are truly amazing and we are very grateful for all of you! For anyone considering boarding or daycare, your furry family member will love it and you will not be disappointed!! Lucky Dog is the cream of the crop!

We dropped our Goldendoodle Max off for 5 nights while on vacation. Laurie and the Lucky Dog staff took amazing care of our Max, gave us daily updates, and Max got to meet some awesome pup pals. Finn, my spoiled labradoodle puppy, starts quivering with excitement as we approach the turnoff for Lucky Dog. After leaping out of the car, he bolts toward the gate to get inside. He just successfully completed his first sleepover and can't wait to go back! Staff is terrific.

When you drive up you'll notice the pristine grounds, the big welcome smiles and a peaceful atmosphere that says "my dog will have fun and be safe here".

Laurie has outdone herself! She and her team are so kind and loving to the dogs. I have a 4yr old German Shepherd. He has an amazing disposition but still is a bit of a mama's boy. They have helped me wean him into daycare and now he's loving it! So grateful!

Lucky Dog Resort is like no other. Immaculately clean, comfortable and fun environment for the dogs with a beyond caring staff. They are diligent and knowledgeable. We use Lucky Dog as daycare and boarding whenever we vacation to Newport, and we now even make the trip from Massachusetts to drop him off for boarding needs during holidays, because of how wonderful they are! Our dog always comes home tired, happy, and... CLEAN! We cannot recommend Lucky Dog enough!

My dog springs joyfully out of the car when she’s arriving at Lucky Dog - that says it all. They are professional, caring and also understanding of both the dog’s needs and any owner’s concerns. I hate being separated from my dog but have every confidence in Lucky Dog’s ability to manage any concern or problem: such as when I accidentally left my dog’s medicine behind they kindly delivered it to our home. When my dog’s medicine was dropped off I was almost afraid that she would hop into the Lucky Dog car and go back to see her friends there. I cannot imagine my dog boarding anywhere else.

Couldn’t recommend this place more! Laurie from Lucky Dog Resort was amazingly supportive and communicative, as I was (embarrassingly) nervous about leaving my puppy for her first overnight away. They checked all her records carefully, which gave me the confidence about her double checking others. She sent me updates and a few pics (including from the pool!), for which I was very grateful. Chloe was happy, tired and very clean when we picked her up.

Lucky dog was amazing! We were on vacation in Newport and the pet resort welcomed my young English bulldog, Bubba with open arms. The owner was so responsive and sent pictures of him in the kiddy pool. Would highly recommend. Super clean and professional too!! Definitely going there whenever we are in Newport!
